About Us
"a voice
calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, Make straight paths
for him." (Matt. 3:3b)
We
are here to introduce you to Africa and its beauty. The richness of the
land and the artistic abilities of the people of Africa. This web book
is simply about people helping people. Many people are dying of poverty
but by buying from us you will help them to live. Please support us. Many
years ago the question was put to me. "How can you give somebody
back his/her dignity?" I had many answer bus but none of them seem
to fit. One day I was listening to a business man and he made the this
statement. If you give somebody a fish, he might die, but if you teach
him/her to fish, they will live. That got stuck in my mind and as I Traveled
in African and stayed in Malawi for two years I came under the impression
of the hopelessness of the situation. I saw that the solution was not
money being poured into Africa but job opportunities being created for
the people. Crime, theft and poor living conditions was all the cause
of not having a job. Africa needs training and teaching.Through the years
a plan was formulated in my mind and this web book was birthed to help
people.
Training people in various crafts and arts and then creating
an export market to sell the products is part of the answer. The plan
is to build up craft centers all over Africa were people can be taught
in various skills, especially those that are sick and poor so that they
can generate money for themselves. When you have aids nobody really cares
and you die, but if they are taught and help in this way, they would have
a change to survive and look after themselves. This is a very short summery
about us but in our Mission paged you can read much more and also how
to get involve in people helping people.
Begging is not the answer and that does not place dignity
in anybody but working for a living give you back your dignity and make
live worth living. When you buy from us you will give somebody in Africa
live.
Thank you for supporting this Mission!
