How to live in abundance in a time of need.

“Who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions”. (Heb. 11:33) (NIV)

When you read through Heb. 11 you cannot help to come under the oppression of the great faith of God’s heroes. In God’s faith gallery you’ll find men like David, Moses, Abraham, Esther, Sarah and so many more. Through faith they have subdued kingdoms. We could ask ourselves, what kingdoms? No matter how bad the worldly systems was, (poverty, sickness etc) by their faith they overcame that, having no lack but living in abundance financially, spiritually and physically. You can soar high above your circumstances if you can apply faith in your life. God want’s us to live in peace and prosperity. What you believe is what you will get.

For him that believes everything is possible, nothing will be impossible. (Mark. 9:23)

Let it be according to your faith. Now faith involves money as well as souls for the kingdom of God.
There are so many that are called (goers), but they can’t go because they lack finances.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Rom. 10:17

We read in 2 Cor. 8:9 (Amp) that:
“for you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognising more strongly and clearly the grace of our lord and Jesus Christ (his kindness his gracious generosity, his undeserved favour and spiritual blessing) In that though he was so very rich, yet for your sake he became so very poor, in order that by his poverty, you might become enriched (blessed, abundantly supplied.”

We should not take the word out of context and say this is only about spiritual blessing as some might say. In 2 Corth. 8&9 Paul explains a lot about finances (please read). I am sure you would agree that finances are a very important part of the gospel. God doesn’t have a problem that his children has got money, God has a problem that money has a hold on you (a greed of money is the problem which is idolatry, mammon).
Some people say it’s only the rich that is greedy but it’s not so, there are more poor people that is greedy than rich people. If you haven’t learned to give for the work of God you miss an important law of God. Some people say they can’t afford to pay there tithing. I think it’s the other way, you can’t afford not to pay it, because if you can’t even pay your tithing then you won’t have Gods blessings on your finances. That’s why there are people struggling. If we are not faithful in the little things, how can God trust us with bigger things? You are actually robbing Gods from His money. If you have given God his tenth, you haven’t given Him much at all yet. After you’ve given your tenth then you must give your offering, because it belongs to God. You want to be blessed, first give to God and then give out of your self and that is your offering and you will be blessed and your house hold. believe that what you believe is going to happen to you,

The blessing of the Lord it makes [truly] rich and He adds no sorrow with it). Proverbs 10: 22
If you haven’t got Gods blessing upon your live its because you haven’t put your faith in action yet, cause the blessings of God makes rich, not to enrich your self, but to enrich the kingdom of God.
Souls got to be won and it asks money,

Souls got to be won and it asks money,

But you shall [ earnestly] remember your Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant. Deut. 8:18

Which HE swore to your fathers, as it is this day? God wants to give you wealth, if you
Can give out of a thankful heart and remember him and think about His kingdom and
Helping them expanding the Kingdom of God so that His covenant with you can be established.
So many peoples lives has been enriched because they believed in His promises and
Have sown into the kingdom of God. Just listen to what the Bible say in 2 Cor. 9:8:

“And God is able to make all grace (every favour and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance’s that you may always and under all circumstances, and what ever the need be self sufficient (possessing enough requiring no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation) (amplified).

Meaning God wants to bless you so that you can bless other ministries. You first have to give into His kingdom.

And God who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your (resources) for sowing and increase the fruits off your righteousness, {which manifest it in active goodness, kindness and charity} 2 Cor. 9:10 {Amplified}

Are you a sower {by the way seed is money) the more you sow the more seed God
will provide for the seed you’ve sown. What is one of the biggest things that hinders
the expansion of Gods kingdom? (Money). IF you want more, you need to sow more
Lets read verse 11 of 2 Cor. 9:

“thus you will be enriched in all things and every ways that you can be generous, and [your generosity as it is] administered by us will bring forth thanks giving to God.”

If God speaks to you about sowing, listen to Him, believe Him and act upon His word even if you are poor. God has got a solution for every situation.Listen, God begins with the little you have, He will multiply whatever little you have to sow. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added onto you. Generosity towards others is our gift to God.

For it is not [intended] that other people be eased and relieved [of their
responsibility] and you be burdened and suffer [unfairly],
but to have equality [share and share alike], your surplus over necessity at the present time going to meet their want and to equalise the difference created by it, so that [at some other time] their surplus in turn may be given to supply your want. Thus there may be equality.
As it is written, He who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack. 2 Cor. 8:13-15 [Amplified]

Both giver and receiver are blessed through generosity. Also, a balance is achieved as giving and receiving occurs:

”then there will be equality” 2 Cor 8:14

Both parties receive satisfaction from the gift exchange, one having given out of his excess to help the others shortage, yet both are blessed. To block generosity hinders both sides, both lose. No wonder satan robs the Church of giving and receiving. When generosity is stifled , both givers and receivers are robbed not only physically, but also spiritually, no longer build up as God intended.

”They gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on there own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints”
2 Cor 8:3-4

The Macedonians even though extremely poor understood giving as a privilege and pleaded to be able to give. They were more effected by Gods ways than by their sparse means. Times will come when others and we will feel that we are so needy, that we have nothing to give nothing to be generous with. This is our greatest test. God may nudge us to give what little we have, even in extreme poverty. God’s ways are not our ways; they transcend the natural, changing the humanly impossible into the divinely possible.

”I was young and now I'm old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed
Psalm 7:25,26.

According to Paul, the test of our love centres around our generosity.

“….I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness with others. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty you might become rich” ” 2 Cor. 8:8-9

The master of generosity is Jesus, who exemplifies the generous heart who, models and imparts the riches of His grace that we might follow His example of generosity towards others, that they might also increase in generosity.

Gal.6: 10 challenges:
”Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially those who belong to the family of believers.”
May Gods riches blessing be on you for evermore.
