My prayer Closet


Prayer in the closet is the most intimate experience that we can have with Jesus.

When a man and a woman close the bedroom door behind them and become intimate they are united in a very special way and a bond are formed between them. When we close the door of our Prayer closet behind us. It brings us to such an intimate relationship with God in the Spirit.

Within a Marriage relationship the intimate deed between man and wife is the climax of that relationship and prayer in the closet, is the climax of our relationship with God. Prayer in the closet is when you and your heavenly bridegroom become one in your fellowship with one another.

In a marriage relationship, the women are impregnated with the seed of the man and she brings forth children with the characteristics and personality of her husband. It is in closet prayer where you, as the bride of Christ become impregnated with His imperishable seed, the Word of God, and you will bring forth after His seed, His ability, His power, His anointing and His spirit.

Lets read (Matt 6:6)
“But you, when you pray go into your room. And when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”

Prayer brings us to a place in God, were we cannot enter with our own understanding or intellect.
Prayer brings us into a spiritual position in God.

Paul preached, taught, demonstrated and lived these revelations (as a result of prayer) but people did not understand what he was talking about.

We read in (Eph: 1:17 – 18)
Vs. 17. “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

Vs. 18. “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,”

Paul prayed that our portion would be something much greater and deeper than just a religious experience.
Prayer gives us something greater and deeper than just a blessing.
Paul prayed that we might have a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Jesus)

Without relationship, we cannot receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

In the closet we learn to know His voice and be come to know Him
This can only happen through prayer, reading and meditating on His Word. We need to spend time in His presence and then we will know God.

We read in (Daniel 11:32)
“They that know their God, shall be strong and do exploits.”

There is a special place in God where you alone can go. No one can force you, push you or threaten you to go in. You must enter willingly.

Paul says that in this place of prayer, “the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened, so that you may know”.

Because the eyes of your mind is enlightened you will receive Revelation as your listen to a sermon or as you study the word. Suddenly the spirit of God will ENLIGHTEN (Highlight) something you hear. You might have heard it before but it didn’t make an impact.
RHEMA WORD.

I’m using the marriage relationship to try to bring you to a better understanding of what our relationship with God should be.

WHERE DOES A MAN AND HIS WIFE BECOMES INTIMATE WITH ON ANOTHER?

A man is intimate with his wife in their bedroom behind close doors. You do not become intimate with your husband on the street corner, neither in the café or supermarket. In public you have a friendship relationship, as comradeship or best friends. In public we talk to each other, laugh together and do things together but at night in our bedroom – when the doors are locked and when it is only the two of us in the privacy of our bedroom, there is a different relationship. In the morning, after the bedroom experience, the husband rewards His wife in public.

HOW DOES HE REWARD HER?

1. She bears his name.
2. To the world and his friends he says: "This is the woman who pleases me".
3. He trusts her with his motorcar, chequebook, and everything else.
4. He allows her to bring forth his children.
5. She has access to him at all times, day and night.
6. In the bedroom she may ask whatever she wills, and in there she receives whatever she asks.

WHAT SHOULD OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD BE LIKE?

Our Scripture said: “When you pray”
The Questions is how many times within 24 hours do we spend alone with our husbands or wives in our bedroom?
Would you say: “At least, once a day. Don’t you think we should spent, at least once a day, with our heavenly bridegroom in our closet?”

Lock your door and get alone with God. We do not get intimate in a group. That type of intimacy can only exist between two people. God, who sees in private…To receive revelations and to be able to share this with others, means that you have receive private knowledge. God is in privacy and he sees private and when you are with God in the closet, you will also “see in private” as God sees because He will reveal it to you through His Holy Spirit. God will reward you for that intimate time so that you will be able to share what you have received in private with others and that will also touch them. There in the privacy of the closet, you will be impregnated with God’s abilities. You will become pregnant with God’s Word – the imperishable seed.

HOW DOES GOD REWARDS US?

1. We will be called by His name.
2. His anointing will rest upon us.
3. He will trust us with His power.
4. God will let you bring forth his spiritual children into the Kingdom.
5. If His word, His seed is present within you, you may ask what you will and you will receive it because you will be asking according to His will.
You will be prosperous and you will lack nothing.

Everyone will see that you are a blessed by God.
Prayer without a relationship with God without the closet relationship is the same as a man’s seed falling to the ground – there is no impregnation. It is just a dream, an illusion in his mind.

Many people say: “O, but I talk to God while I am driving, at work, or as I walk along, a few word here and a few words there – BROTHER I PRAY ALL DAY LONG.”

“Yes brother, I also talk to my wife in the car, in the café, in my office and in ht garden – BUT to just talk is not the same as being intimate? “

There is a big difference between just talking and being intimate with you mate.

All our talking, begging and beseeching God is of absolute no use at all, and all the promises of the Lord stays empty – they do not materialize – because there is no closet relationship with God. To be intimate means to please, to make glad and to fulfill your partners desires. You must realize that in being intimate, you remove all the masks that you wear and your partner sees you as you are – you cannot hide anything away. You are no more known in part. There in the bedroom you are fully know.

All our weaknesses, problems, sins and shortcomings are revealed there in the closet, in private where no one but God can see, and He deals with us concerning these and washes us with His precious blood. But in public I am clothed with His glory and no one sees my weaknesses. They will see HIS POWER, ANOINTING AND GLORY. There in His presence, the borders of your faith explode and suddenly everything is UNLIMITED.

WHY??????

Because the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Him has enlightened your eyes and you see your God in His unlimited might and glory, and now in God’s presence everything becomes a reality. In His presence we do not see as in a mirror, a puzzle but face to face.

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory (of Revelation) of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord”. (2 Corth 3:8)

Prayer in the closet will ignite the fire of God in your innermost being.

Moses did not need to tell anyone that he was with God. His FACE GAVE HIM AWAY. The glory of God was visible on him.
The Hebrew text says: “The glory of God shone from his face.”

When you have been in the presence of God you flesh will be effected. You will be healed and delivered because nothing can stand before His glory.

But what keep us away from entering:
1. Our inhibitions.
2. We are uncomfortable is such intimate relationships because there is things in our live that we have not dealt with.
3. We have not learned about relationships in our homes because of traditional issues.
4. Often a Religious spirit keeps us away from this wonderful experience.
5. Bitterness and unforgiveness.

Moses was literally on fire with the glory of God and it was visible in His flesh and when you have been with Jesus in such a way, every one will know it. It will also be visible in your flesh.
